Anu - Sci-Fi Creature Design

Designs for a bird like creature done for a university brief. It makes it's home in the tall canopies of an alien planets rainforests.
They travel in large flocks, perching on branches and swooping through insect swarms when they hunt .
Very docile and curious in nature, they would much rather investigate humans up close, than flee in fear.
